Meadowbrook reopens at Hempstead Tpke. after accident, State Police say

The northbound lanes of the Meadowbrook State Parkway have reopened at Hempstead Turnpike after a three-car accident, according to State Police.

One person, who sustained minor injuries to the back and neck, is being treated at a hospital, police said.

Additional details of the accident, which occurred at 1:04 p.m. near Exit M5, were not immediately available.

The parkway reopened just before 1:30 p.m.
