Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway reopens after accident
An auto accident briefly shut down a portion of the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway Sunday evening, police said. But by 9:50 p.m., southbound travel had resumed.
An accident on the southbound portion of Route 135 between Exit 7 (Hempstead Turnpike) and Exit 8 (Powell Avenue/Plainview Road) in Bethpage at about 8:30 p.m. left only the left lane open.
