Armed robbery suspect sought
Nassau County police are searching for a man who they said robbed a woman at gunpoint outside her house in Uniondale.
The 44-year-old victim and her two brothers were unloading packages from a car at her Southern Parkway residence Saturday night when, police said, they were approached by a man described as being "tall, thin, with a sunken face, wearing a black ski cap and armed with a revolver."
After pointing his gun at the woman, the suspect grabbed her pocketbook and ran southbound on Davis Avenue to a four door gray Honda, police said. He was last seen on Park Avenue.
Police said no one was injured during the robbery.
