A Cedarhurst man was arrested Wednesday and charged with burglarizing a Cedarhurst home in September, Nassau police said.

Bruno G. Panuccio Jr., 24, of 499 Albermarle Rd., was charged with entering a house on Buckingham Road through a rear second floor window on Sept. 26, police said, and later fleeing with assorted jewelry that belonged to the homeowner.

Panuccio was to be arraigned Thursday in First District Court, Hempstead, on a charge of second degree burglary.
