Two men in black masks pulled a gun on a Freeport automotive repair shop employee and stole his wallet shortly after noon on Saturday, Nassau police said.

The 63-year-old employee was working at Riteway Motors on Bennington Avenue when the men approached and threw him to the ground, police said. One of the men displayed a silver handgun.

The robbers took the employee's wallet then fled on foot headed west on nearby Sunrise Highway, police said. The wallet contained cash, credit cards and a driver's license.

The victim wasn't hurt, police said.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
