At least 5 hurt in Roslyn accident

Nassau County police were investigating a multiple-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in Roslyn that injured at least five people, a spokeswoman said.

An emergency call for an accident at Old Northern Boulevard and West Shore Road came in at 12:30 p.m., the spokeswoman said.

"It's multiple vehicles and multiple injuries," she said.

Initial reports were five people had neck and back injuries, she said, adding that no other details were immediately available.
