Atlantic Beach crash leaves motorcyclist dead, police say

A motorcyclist died in a crash late Monday afternoon in Atlantic Beach, police said.
The victim’s name has not been released.
A spokeswoman for the Nassau County Police Department said the accident happened at 5:37 p.m. on Park Street near Nassau Avenue.
She did not have any further information as to the cause of the crash or details about the other vehicle involved.
