Police hunt for man with fake beard who robbed Baldwin bank
Nassau police are searching for a man with a fake beard who robbed a bank in Baldwin on Tuesday evening.
Police said the man entered the Capital One bank at 2302 Grand Ave. about 5:43 p.m. and handed a bank teller a note demanding money. After he was given an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled through the rear door in an unknown direction, police said.
No one was hurt.
Police said the suspect was sporting a fake beard. He was described as 6 feet tall with a thin build, wearing a blue hoodie.
