Baldwin crash critically injures teen, cops say

A teenager driving in Baldwin Sunday was critically injured when he struck a tree on Foxhurst Road, Nassau County police said.
The unidentified 17-year-old was driving a Buick west on the roadway at about 7:11 p.m. when he struck the tree, police said.
He was taken to an area hospital where he is in critical condition with “multiple injuries,” according to a news release.
Police said there were no passengers and no charges are pending.
