An educational program at Belmont Park that was forced to close nearly six weeks ago -- after a robber made off with its computers -- is reopening Monday.

Ten laptops were among the items stolen Memorial Day from the Backstretch Education Fund building.

The Roosevelt Field mall Apple Store recently helped the program rebound, giving it a deal on new computers, program founder Lisa Ford said Saturday.

The program teaches English, literacy and horse-tending skills to many of Belmont Park's employees and provides a computer lab for them to access email and Skype, Ford said.

No arrests have been made in connection with the robbery.
