Cops: Man hit by sedan in Bethpage dies of injuries
A Bethpage man died Tuesday after he was struck by a sedan in the hamlet the night before, Nassau police said.
At 8:35 p.m. Monday, Robert Gunsberg, 60, was crossing Hempstead Turnpike at Stewart Avenue when a 2021 four-door Audi sedan struck him, according to police.
Gunsberg was pronounced dead Tuesday at a hospital, police said.
The driver of the Audi, a 29-year-old woman, stayed at the scene, police said.
