Identity released of man found dead Saturday in Uniondale

The body of a man found Saturday morning on a Uniondale street has been identified as Jesus Martinez, 27, a resident of the hamlet, Nassau police said late Tuesday.
Police responded to Walton Avenue near Hempstead Turnpike at 10:03 a.m. Saturday and found the man, authorities said. He was pronounced dead by a Nassau County police medic.
The Nassau County Homicide Squad is investigating Martinez's death but no details about how he died were released Tuesday night.
