Boy, 3, hit by car critical but stable
A 3-year-old boy accidentally hit by a van in front of a Uniondale home is in critical but stable condition Tuesday morning at Nassau University Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The boy was hit in the 800 block of Park Place at about 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nassau First Squad detectives said.
Police said a neighbor accidentally hit the boy, who was bleeding from the head from a wound that required stitches.
There were no charges and no criminality was suspected, according to police.
