A 3-year-old boy was accidentally hit by a van in front of 834 Park Place in Uniondale at around 4:30 this afternoon, Nassau First Squad detectives said.

Police said a neighbor accidentally hit the boy, who suffered minor injuries. There were no charges and no criminality was suspected, police said.

The boy was bleeding from the head and the wound required stitches, the detectives said. He was brought to Nassau University Medical Center, where, police said, he was in stable condition. It was not clear Monday night whether he had been released.
