Boy robbed of cellphone in Valley Stream
A 16-year-old boy was robbed of his cellphone while riding his bike Saturday night near Sydney Place and Green Acres Road East in Valley Stream, Nassau police said.
About 9 p.m. three males approached the victim, one of them brandishing a dark-colored handgun, police said. The victim gave the suspects his phone and they left on foot, heading west on Green Acres Road East. No injuries were reported.
