Break-in at Elmont church investigated

Nassau County police said Monday they are investigating a burglary at an Elmont church.

Fourth Squad detectives said police responding to a 911 call at 2:50 a.m. Sunday at Advent Lutheran Church, 1840 Atherton Ave., found a broken basement window.

A search of the building revealed that nothing was taken, police said.
