On Thursday, Nassau County Executive Laura Curran and the American Cancer Society announced "a reimagining" of the annual Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk at Jones Beach. The Oct. 18 event will be a "drive through experience," with attendees encouraged to decorate their cars with pink.
