A burglar who went into St. Francis Hospital in Flower Hill Sunday, changed into scrubs, then stole items from several offices, Nassau police said Tuesday as they asked for help to identify the man.

Detectives released hospital surveillance footage of the suspect, who at first wore dark-colored clothing before going into a staff lounge and emerging in green scrubs.

The cardiac imaging area in the basement is closed Sundays, police said, but the man got in there sometime between 12:52 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

He took a master key and identification card from the nurses station, went into the staff lounge, then to the offices, where he removed an Amazon Kindle and money, police said.

The victims noticed on Tuesday that items were missing, police said.

Anyone with information may call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
