Bus fire closes eastbound LIE

All eastbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway around exit 46 in Plainview were closed because of a bus fire as of 10:15 p.m., Nassau police said.

As of 10:50 p.m., the exit ramp and the right lane remained closed while other lanes were reopened.

The bus was being towed by a truck at the time of the fire and it had no passengers.

There were no reported injuries, police said.
