The driver of a car that collided with a mini school bus Wednesday morning in Woodmere was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Nassau County police said.

No children on the bus were injured in the accident at Central Avenue and Woodmere Boulevard, reported at about 8:30 a.m., a police spokeswoman said.

The spokeswoman said she had no other details on the accident.
