Police investigate the scene after a driver crashed into a Pizza Hut in Wantagh on Tuesday night, Nov. 11, 2014. Credit: John Scalesi

A car crashed through the front window of a Pizza Hut in Wantagh on Tuesday night, coming to a stop inside the restaurant, Nassau police said.

Police said there were no apparent injuries in the 6:09 p.m. wreck near Jerusalem and Wantagh avenues. No arrests were made.

Further details were not immediately available.

Nobody at the restaurant could be reached. A phone message indicated the business remained closed at 7:30 p.m.
