Charges dismissed in father, son fight
Charges against a Malverne man accused of getting into a fight with his father were dismissed by a Nassau County grand jury, documents show.
Mickey A. Dolinski, 30, of Oxford Street, was accused of punching, kicking and striking his dad with a "police-type baton" after the two got into an argument in the home in July 2010, police said.
Police did not identify the father.
The grand jury dismissed the charges in December 2010.
"The above mentioned dismissal is a termination of the criminal action in favor of the accused and ... 'the arrest and prosecution shall be deemed a nullity and the accused shall be restored, in contemplation of the law, to the status occupied before the arrest and prosecution,'" according to the Certificate of Disposition Grand Jury Dismissal.
