Chinese food delivery man robbed, beaten
A Chinese food delivery man was robbed and struck on the head and face as he was making a drop-off Sunday in Uniondale, say Nassau County police.
As the 38-year-old man approached a residence on Charter Court at about 7:15 p.m., he was surrounded by three men, ages 18 to 21, dressed all in black, who demanded money and struck him, police said.
According to police, those three and a fourth male, about 6 feet tall, also dressed in black and of the same age, fled on foot with the food and an unknown amount of money, heading east on Macon Place.
The delivery man suffered facial abrasions and contusions, but refused medical attention, said police.
Anyone with information can call Nassau County Crime Stoppers anonymously at 800-244-TIPS.
