A cement truck in Long Beach malfunctioned Wednesday morning, spewing cement and breaking windows on a parked car.

The cement truck for Farmingville-based Gomez Cement Contractor was working in the city's West End at Maryland and West Park avenues, near West Elementary, when the truck began to malfunction, city officials said.

The truck began projecting cement onto a nearby parked car and into the street at about 9:10 a.m. No injuries were reported.

The cement was cleaned up by 11:30 a.m., officials said.
