Cook arrested in theft of restaurant TV
A cook was arrested Tuesday and charged with stealing a flat screen television from the Cedarhurst restaurant where he works, Nassau police said.
Kevin Roldan, 20, of 48 Carman Ave., employed at Munch n' Stuff Grill, 206 Rockaway Tpke., was charged with third degree burglary.
Roldan intentionally left a rear door open prior to going home Monday night, police said, and then returned shortly after midnight.
He entered through that rear door and took a Samsung flat panel television worth about $650, police said.
After Roldan returned to work Tuesday, he was arrested, police said, and the television was recovered.
He was to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court, Hempstead.
