A man was killed Saturday night in Inwood of what appeared to be gunshot wounds, Nassau police said.

Police received a 911 call at about 8:56 p.m. about a disturbance on Wanser Avenue. When they arrived, they found the man with apparent gunshot wounds.

The man, whom police did not identify but described as around 30 years old, died at the scene at 9:15 p.m. His body was taken to the morgue at Nassau University Medical Center.
