Nassau and Hempstead Village police arrested 10 people Friday night for selling alcohol to minors at part of their "Project 21" initiative.

The arrests, Nassau police said, were made using an underage agent who attempted to purchase alcohol from stores within the confines of Nassau's Fourth Precinct.

Among those arrested were:

Enrique Estevez, 38, of Morrell Street in Hempstead;

Alie Sertel, 41, of Princeton Street in Hempstead;

Julio Rodriguez, 51, of Wallace Avenue in Freeport;

Reeinberto Rivera, 64, of Webb Avenue in Hempstead;

Pervaiz A. Chaudhry, 55, of Page Lane in Westbury;

Bobby Singh, 36, of Jerusalem Avenue in Merrick;

Lesbin J. Lopez-Calix, 25, of Dartmouth Street in Hempstead;

David Taveras, 29, of Madison Avenue in Rockville Centre;

Miguel Estevez, 54, of Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst;

Marvin Calero, 41, of Brush Hollow Road in Westbury.

Each of the 10 defendants were released on an appearance ticket and will appear in First District Court in Hempstead on May 7.
