Two Queens men were arrested Thursday on charges they committed a series of armed robberies in Elmont in July, including a gas station, a convenience store and a doughnut shop, Nassau County police said.

Darren Hicks, 28, of 11428 198th St., is charged with three counts of first-degree robbery, and Jahdon Clarke, 23, of 11427 198th St., is charged with four counts of first-degree robbery, police said.

They were scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.

Police said the two robbed a 7-Eleven on July 13, a delivery man on July 26, a gas station on July 30 and a Dunkin' Donuts store on July 31.

In each robbery, the two men used a black handgun to take unspecified amounts of cash, police said.
