Two people were robbed by a gunman early Sunday while walking in Uniondale, Nassau County police said.

The victims, a 20-year-old man and 19-year-old woman, were walking on Tulsa Street near Manor Parkway at 1:43 a.m. when a man carrying a handgun came up to them and demanded their property, police said.

The victims gave the man two cellphones and a wallet containing cash before the man fled, police said. The two victims were not injured.

The man was described as tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white T-shirt underneath, and black pants. He carried a silver handgun.
