A Brooklyn man and a Westbury man were charged with drunken driving in separate incidents Friday and Saturday, each after they were stopped for speeding, state police said.

Police said Ennis Bicic, 40, of 71st Street, Brooklyn, was driving his Honda 91 mph near Exit 30, Broadway, in North Massapequa Friday when a trooper spotted him at 11:46 a.m.

During the subsequent traffic stop police said the trooper determined Bicic had been drinking and a field sobriety test showed he had a blood-alcohol content of .12 percent.

The legal limit in New York is .08 percent.

Bicic was charged with driving while intoxicated and traffic violations, police said. He is scheduled for arraignment on April 15 in First District Court in Hempstead.

Gary Ayer, 30, of Orchard Street in Westbury, was arrested at 1:55 a.m. Saturday after police said a trooper noticed his Cadillac approaching his cruiser on the eastbound Northern State Parkway from behind near Glen Cove Road in Westbury "at a high rate of speed."

Police said a field sobriety test showed Ayer had a .14 percent blood-alcohol content.

He was charged with DWI and traffic violations, police said. He is scheduled for arraignment on April 4.
