Cops: 2 stabbed in Hempstead early Sunday

Two men were stabbed as they waited for a bus in Hempstead early Sunday morning, Nassau police said.

The men, one 20, the other 46, were standing on Fulton Avenue at about 4:32 a.m. when police said four unknown people -- three men and a woman -- approached them.

After an altercation, the woman and one of the men stabbed the two men in the abdomen, according to police.

The victims were taken to hospitals, where they were treated for nonlife-threatening injuries.
