Two Brooklyn residents were arrested Monday at Target in Valley Stream after one of them made nearly $5,000 in purchases with a stolen credit and the other unsuccessfully attempted to make a purchase with another stolen card, police said.

Friday Imhiavan, 43, of 1003 Willmohr St., and Ana Agosto, 22, of 580 Van Siclen Ave., were arrested at the 500 W. Sunrise Hwy. store at 12:15 p.m., Nassau County police said in a news release early Tuesday.

Imhiavan is accused of using a stolen credit card to buy "computers, cameras, memory cards, refill phone cards" and iTunes cards totaling $4,953.55, police said.

Agosto "made similar selections and when she attempted to make her purchase with the other stolen credit card in the amount of $2,876.70, the transaction was declined," police said.

Fourth Precinct police officers arrest Imhiavan and Agosto at the store a short time later, police said.

Imhiavan was charged with first-degree identity theft, third-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said.

Agosto was charged with attempted fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said.

They are scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court, Hempstead.
