Nassau County First Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that took place at 1:45 a.m. Saturday in Roosevelt.

According to police, a 21-year-old male was on East Fulton Avenue early Saturday morning when he was approached by three unfamiliar men believed to be in their 20s. The first suspect, described as between 20 and 28 years old with a mustache and wearing dark pants, a dark sweatshirt and a knit cap, displayed a handgun to the victim and "demanded the victim's property," police said.

At that point, the second and third suspect removed the victim's wallet and cellphone from his pockets and the three suspects fled on foot, traveling westbound on East Fulton Avenue.

Police said the second suspect was described as being about 5-foot-10, 20 years old, and wearing dark pants and a dark sweatshirt. The third suspect is believed to be between 20 and 28 years old, also wearing dark pants and a dark sweatshirt.
