Police are searching for three men who broke into a home in New Cassel early Monday, stealing cash, a debit card and other items at gunpoint from the 61-year-old victim.

The home invasion occurred at a home on Sherman Street at about 3:10 a.m., Nassau County police said. Police said the victim, a woman, was not injured.

Police said the victim was watching television in her bedroom when the three suspects entered, displayed a handgun, a cane and a stick -- and demanded money from her.

She complied.

The suspects all wore hooded sweatshirts and had their faces covered, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
