Burglars early Saturday morning stole $30,000 in electronics from a freight company in Inwood near Kennedy Airport, Nassau police said.

The four suspects pried open a back door of the company, Expeditors International, between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. and apparently loaded a white or silver van with the computer and electronics equipment, police said.

A 44-year-old employee interrupted the burglary when he noticed the door ajar and went to investigate, he said.

The men were described only as wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves. The theft was captured on surveillance video, but police have no suspects.

Detectives from the Hewlett-based Fourth Squad asked anyone with information to call the police hotline: 800-244-TIPS.

An employee named Orlando who answered the phone on Saturday afternoon at the Inwood office of Expeditors International, which is based in Washington, D.C., said he had no information about the theft.
