Four people were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries after their car crashed into a utility pole in Roslyn on Monday, knocking down live wires, Nassau County police said.

Police said the incident occurred on Mineola Avenue at 9:16 a.m. The hospital where the victims were taken was not immediately clear, police said.

Police said Emergency Service Unit officers were sent to the crash scene and a LIPA spokeswoman said the utility had been notified and said emergency crews responded.
