Four teenage boys threw a 67-year-old man to the ground in Freeport and stole his laundry and his wallet early Saturday morning, police said.

The victim was carrying a laundry bag at 5:30 a.m. on North Grove Street at Randall Avenue when the teenagers attacked him, Nassau County police said. One assailant forced the victim to the ground while another held him down and the others riffled through his pockets, police said. The assailants ran off with his laundry and wallet, police said. Police did not say whether the laundry was clean.

The victim suffered a minor injury to his neck that police said did not require medical treatment.
