Cops: 5 hurt in school bus crash in Elmont

Five people, including two children, were injured Wednesday morning when a school bus and a car collided on Dutch Broadway near Elmont Road in Elmont, police said.
Nassau police said all the injuries in the 7:19 a.m. crash were minor. The ages of the injured children were not known.
Police said the bus driver, a bus matron and the driver in the other vehicle are believed to be the adults injured in the crash. All of the injured were taken to hospitals, where they were treated and released.
Police could not immediately identify the school served by the bus.
