A dozen arrests were made in a sweep by Nassau detectives of individuals associated with phony drug prescriptions, police said Thursday.

Narcotics Vice Squad and Bureau of Special Operations officers made the arrests over the past three days, police said. Those arrested were arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead.

Eleven arrested on charges of possession of a forged instrument were:

Thomas Macaluso, 29, of Farmingdale, Elicia Sanseverino, 32, of Carle Place, Martha Alfaro, 58, of Hempstead, Jamie Muscarella, 31, of Freeport, Pantelis Alexopoulos, 33, of Valley Stream, Gina Giasi, 46, of Floral Park, Nicole Sblendorio, 30, of Island Park, Andrew Green, 25, of East Northport, Tekima Lawry, 33, of Brooklyn, James Grant lll, 26, of Manhattan, and Franco Ortiz, 44, of Queens.

Linda Casaceli, 56, of East Rockaway, was charged with falsifying business records, 1st degree.
