Cops: At least 1 injured in Lido Blvd. crash

A motor vehicle accident in Lido Beach early Friday in which one car overturned and at least one injured person was taken to a hospital, a department spokeswoman said. The call for the accident near 630 Lido Blvd. came in at 8:23 a.m., and police requested two rescue helicopters from its air bureau to the scene, the spokeswoman said. Nassau County police are investigating a motor vehicle accident in Lido Beach early Friday in which one car overturned and at least one injured person was taken to a hospital, a department spokeswoman said.
The call for the accident near 630 Lido Blvd. came in at 8:23 a.m., and police requested two rescue helicopters from its air bureau to the scene, the spokeswoman said.
A portion of Lido Boulevard was closed, but has since reopened, she said.
The spokeswoman had no additional information.
