A baby-sitter took and signed checks from her Muttontown employer tallying $19,000 before she was arrested Thursday, Nassau police said.

Crystal Amatulli, 27, of 15 Robert Dr. in Centereach, was charged with third-degree grand larceny and first-degree identity theft, police said.

While employed at the home for two weeks last March, she took 12 checks, police said.

Amatulli was arrested at her home, police said, and is expected to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
