Cops: Bar patron bites officer's finger
An unruly Queens man bit a police officer's finger as the suspect was being arrested Sunday at a North Long Beach bar, Fourth Squad police said.
George Roy, 23, of 233rd Street, Cambria Heights, was being arrested, accused of creating a disturbance at Paddy McGee's at 6 Waterview Rd., at about 11:52 p.m. when he chomped on an officer's right index finger, police said.
The bite broke the skin, and the officer was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was treated and released.
Roy is charged with assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, police said. He will be arraigned Monday at First District Court in Hempstead.
