Bayville Bridge operating after being stuck, cops say

The Bayville Bridge, which was stuck open due to an electrical issue for several hours Sunday, is back in operation, Nassau police said Sunday evening.

The bridge, which connects Bayville and Oyster Bay, had been stuck open starting at roughly 2:15 p.m. until about 9:45 p.m. Drivers had been forced to take alternate routes.
