Cops: Body found off Meadowbrook Parkway
State police Wednesday were investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a wooded area off the Meadowbrook State Parkway in Freeport, authorities said.
The body of the unidentified man was discovered on the west side of the parkway, north of Sunrise Highway in Freeport, police said.
He was described as Hispanic, possibly of Honduran descent, in his mid-20s, police said.
