A 26-year-old Brooklyn man drowned at Ocean Beach Park in Long Beach Monday night, Long Beach police said.

The man’s identity has not been released, police said, adding that he was swimming in an area with no lifeguards on duty.

Lifeguards leave the beach at 6 p.m., authorities said.

Officers were called to the Boardwalk and Edwards Boulevard at 6:26 p.m., where the victim was pulled from the water.
