Cops: Burglar accesses pharmacy through vent

Detectives are investigating a break-in early Tuesday at a Freeport pharmacy in which the burglar gained access through an air conditioning vent, police said.

The burglar entered Health Mart, 179 Atlantic Ave., through the vent on the roof at 4:06 a.m., took an "undetermined amount of pharmaceuticals," and left by breaking the display window in front of the store, Nassau County police said in a news release.
