Cops: Car crashes into a Dunkin' Donuts
A car crashed into a Dunkin' Donuts shop in Baldwin on Saturday afternoon, Nassau County police said.
Police received a call about the accident at the store at 989 Atlantic Ave., about 3:50 p.m.
A police spokesman could not immediately say if anyone was injured.
A store manager, reached on the phone, said the car, which appeared to be a Cadillac, drove through a window and hit a counter before stopping.
"Everyone is safe, thank God," said the manager, who did not want his name used.
The female driver appeared to be OK after the crash, he said.
The manager said he was not in the store at the time of the crash, but three employees were working then.
No additional information was immediately available.
