Cops: Car hit in Roosevelt drive-by shooting
A 34-year-old man reported a potential shooting incident Friday afternoon near Brookside and Debevoise avenues in Roosevelt, Nassau County police said.
The man said he saw an older-model red Mustang with out-of-state plates being driven at a high rate of speed northbound on Brookside Avenue, police said. The Mustang had blue tinted headlights, police said.
Detectives found a bullet hole in the driver's door of car parked nearby, along with four shell casings, police said. No injuries were reported.
The incident occurred at 5:01 p.m., police said.
