Cops: Cash, cellphones stolen from Kellenberg lockers
Police are searching for a suspect -- or, suspects -- they said broke into 16 locker room lockers at Kellenberg Memorial High School on Sunday, stealing cash, cellphones, school IDs, papers and other items.
The incident occurred during homecoming celebrations at the Uniondale school, between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Nassau County police said.
Additional information was not immediately available.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
