Cops: Child porn files lead to man's arrest

A Cedarhurst man was arrested Friday after it was discovered that he had downloaded numerous child pornography files, police said.

Nicholas M. Paul, 33, of Washington Ave. was arrested at his home and was charged with five counts of "promoting sexual performance of a child," police said. He will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.

Police did not release any other information.
